Creating a Competition

Step 1 Create a New Competition


  1. Locate and expand the Content section.
  2. Click on the Competitions section.
  3. Click on the Create Competition button in the top right of the screen to build a new competition.
Competition Features:

  1. Competition name
  2. Start/End dates
  3. Choose teams or Individual vs. Individual
  4. Make players anonymous
  5. Choose between points or percentage scoring
  6. Provide trophies for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place
  7. Add a Deck cover
  8. Choose a Deck color and icon
  9. Customize the instructions Card

If you choose to customize the instruction card, you will be presented with the familiar template layout.


  1. Add imagery to the card front
  2. Card front WYSIWYG
  3. Card back WYSIWYG
  4. Resource section
  5. Footer addition

Step 2 Add Teams and Players


Once the competition is created, you can add teams and players.

Selecting the “add players randomly” populates all teams evenly.


 
Teams have the following features:
  1. Name
  2. Color
  3. Icon
Once the teams have been created, you have the option to add players to each team. 

You have four options on how to add players:
  1. By Connection
  2. By Search
  3. Upload a CSV file
  4. Through a custom filter

Step 3 Add Objectives

Choose from a Variety of Objectives.

You have multiple options to choose from when it comes to the objective the user must perform to garner points.




Front End Leaderboard and Instruction Cards


The Competition will automatically appear on the user’s homepage in the app under a new “Competitions” category.



Inside the competition deck contains the instructions card and a leaderboard card. The user can view their team’s standings and their personal standings utilizing the navigation at the top of the card.
