Creating an Index Card

Step 1 Create an Index


Within a Deck, click on the button in the top right of the screen titled Add Index Card.


Index Modal Features:


  1. Title your index
  2. Add a cover image
  3. Make darkmode
  4. Add a section

  5. You are able to re-arrange the Cards.

Step 2 Create a Section


Click on the Add Section button above the Card list to create a Section.



Click the edit icon on the right of the Section.


Section Features:

  1. Title your Section
  2. Choose a Section color

Section will display in the Cardlist within a Deck. You are able to re-arrange Sections from this screen.

TIP: Section & Section divider cards

Once you have created multiple sections, you may want to create some cards that visually separate them in the deck but not show up in the index. Since the sections code read as a cascade from top down, there is a tip for this.


 
On the card that you create as the section divider, you will check the “exclude card from index” box.


Because of the top down read of the section, you must place the card just above the section. If placed under the section, the index will not display any cards.
